DIY POM POM CHRISTMAS BAUBLES
Wool pom pom baubles
I collected all my plastic lids from empty milk cartons and water bottles to make these gorgeous colorful wool pom pom Christmas baubles. They are so easy to make and such a nice homemade Christmas decoration for the Christmas tree.
For this craft you will need:
Plastic lids
Wool
Scissors
Silver spray paint
Pom pom maker
You can buy pompom makers here:

Plastic bottle tops
Choose the colour wool you want for the baubles. I picked different colours but you can go with all the same colour if you want.
You will need:
When spraying the plastic lids go outside or in a well ventilated area. Lay the plastic lids onto a piece of cardboard or newspaper. Shake the can well before you spray. Sometimes nozzles sputter a bit and need a spray or two to get going. Spray 6 to 8 inches away from your surface and do a thin, even coat while moving the can in a sweeping motion from side to side. Several thin coats will look much better than one thick coat and will help prevent drips. I sprayed these with three layers. Allowing time to dry in between sprays.
Spray paint the plastic caps.
Let the lids dry. To make a hole in the top of the lid I used a small drill bit. Make the hole big enough to fit the wool through.
Using a fine drill bit drill a hole on top of the lid
Using a flat head screw driver push the wool through the hole in the plastic lid.
This piece of wool will hang the pom pom from the Christmas tree. Hang up your pom pom bauble
Simply hang your gorgeous wool pom pom baubles on to the Christmas Tree and everyone will admire them because they are one of a kind. You made them.
